SIEB & MEYER won Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize

Drive solutions and control technology from Lueneburg are in demand around the globe – in 2021, SIEB & MEYER achieved an export rate of 92%. This great performance is now awarded the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize in the category large companies. The award ceremony was held on June, 01 2022 at the Hanover Fair.

"SIEB & MEYER has specialized in globally distributed niche products since its foundation in 1962," said Torsten Blankenburg, CTO at SIEB & MEYER. "We are very happy about this award. It emphasizes the fact that we are acknowledged and valued as a global business." The international success is based on two subsidiaries in Taiwan and China as well as 12 international sales partners. In the field of CNC control systems for mechanical drilling and routing of printed circuit boards, SIEB & MEYER is the world market leader and lately achieved record sales because of the well-filled order book.

Since 2010, the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize is awarded every year by the Lower Saxony Minister of Economics, Labor, Transport and Digitalization, following the Foreign Trade Day during the Hanover Fair. Small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large companies from Lower Saxony that are active abroad are honored for their export successes. They have found the right ways and strategies to master international challenges and to open up new markets.
