Rotary atomization processes, e.g. applied for the production of milk powder or flue gas treatment, require high circumferential speeds. Therefore, it is necessary to use matching high-speed motors instead of low-speed standard motors.
Due to the necessary high rotating field frequency and the small rotor volume, standard frequency converters are not able to drive these motors adequately, or only with the help of expensive additional components such as sine-wave filters.
SIEB & MEYER frequency converters are optimized for high speed motors, as they provide the necessary rotating field frequencies. Furthermore, special control and drive technologies ensure a low heating of the motor without the need to use sine-wave filters. The low heating of the motors through special control and drive technologies without the use of sinusoidal filters is ensured.
