A Perfect Start Into Working Life
IHK Honors Apprentices
On September 18, IHK Lüneburg (Lueneburg based chamber of commerce and industry) honored the best apprentices of the year 2012 with a ceremonial act in the Lueneburg theater. Among these apprentices were two freshly graduated electronics engineers for devices and systems who together completed their apprenticeships at SIEB & MEYER in Lueneburg.
This year about 4,400 apprentices took their final exams before the examination board of IHK Lüneburg. IHK honored the three best examinees of each profession – 61 men and 31 women achieved top marks in their exams and qualified for the honors. Timon Matraka and Philipp Aschenbrenner have both completed their apprenticeships as electronics engineers for devices and systems at SIEB & MEYER in Lueneburg and were among the top three in this profession. Beside the apprentices, IHK also honored the companies for extraordinary commitment. Torsten Blankenburg, CTO at SIEB & MEYER, proudly accepted the certificate and thanked both young professionals for the great dedication they showed during their apprenticeships.
In addition to the profession as electronics engineer for devices and systems SIEB & MEYER offers apprenticeship for IT specialists (system integration). The specialist for drive and control technology provides a training department and a training supervisor for the apprentices. The future electronics engineers learn their trade in a training laboratory that is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and regularly modernized to meet the requirements of professional training. Before the intermediate or final exams SIEB & MEYER supports the apprentices by means of extensive preparation. "As a highly specialized technology company for high tech drive systems we know that our employees, their know-how and their experience are our greatest asset", Torsten Blankenburg points out. "Every investment into the training of qualified staff is also an investment in the future of our company."
