Clear visualization of managed tools in the user interface of the CNC 9x.00: Magazines can be easily equipped with tools and provided for production. During tool changes the corresponding tool positions are displayed under the table in the page "Magazines" (see red frame in figure). The figure below depicts the user interface after a tool change from T1 to T2: T1 is in the magazine station and T2 is in the spindle. Additionally, tool positions in buffers (if any) can be displayed here, too.

Furthermore, the tool management of the CNC 9x.00 includes an "Escape safety" during tool change. That means if "Escape" is pressed during tool change, thanks to the scripting the CNC always knows the last position of the corresponding tool. If problems occur after an interruption with "Escape" and tool allocations are lost, the tool change can just be repeated. Besides, the operator can link functions via "My Functions" which are useful for interruptions with "Escape".

Overall, the tool management in the CNC 9x.00 is one key factor for a seamless production thanks to its clear display and guaranteed "Escape safety".
