More Efficient Operation Thanks to Customized User Interface
CNC NewsNavigation on the SIEB & MEYER CNC 9x.00 user interface can be customized with the new tab bar and editing functions in the Dashboard. This optimizes safety when operating the CNC machine.
SIEB & MEYER is not only constantly developing the functionality of the CNC 9x.00, but also the user experience. Several functions are now available that make operating the CNC even easier and more effective. The machine operator has direct access to the relevant input options.
Starting from the program page on the CNC user interface, the view in the upper part of the navigation can be set individually. Up to 4 tabs can be displayed in the new tab bar: for the Navigator, for Drilling, Routing and Favorites. For example, the Drilling tab can be used to directly access the magazine page or the peck drilling function. The new home button takes the operator back to the home page at any time, which can be set individually. Forward and back buttons allow you to navigate one page forwards or backwards, as with any standard Internet browser. The tab bar can be activated in the Configurator.
The independently movable Execution Check dialog makes it possible to check all relevant values before starting execution, similar to a checklist. This window can be positioned anywhere, even on another screen. It is displayed via the “Show execution check” button. The execution check can be set in the Configurator.
Another new feature is the simplified editing of values directly in the Dashboard. The input fields can be clicked here and changed directly during the execution. This function can be activated or blocked in the configurator.
The advantages are obvious: the machine operator can see, check and adjust all important values and settings at a glance. This saves valuable time resources and makes work more convenient for the machine operator. Customized navigation makes operating the CNC 9x.00 safer and more efficient.
