Expansion of Sales Activities in Asian Regions
Trade fairs SIMTOS and CCMT: SIEB & MEYER together with local sales partners
In April SIEB & MEYER will exhibit at two trade fairs in Asia: From April 3 to 7 at SIMTOS in Seoul (South Korea) and from April 9 to 13 at CCMT in Shanghai (China). In collaboration with local sales partners the company based in Lueneburg (Germany) presents solutions for drive technology to the Asian market focusing on the device family SD2x.
"Together with our local partners we are expanding our sales activities in Asia at present," says Torsten Blankenburg, CTO at SIEB & MEYER AG. "Trade fairs are good occasions to steadily increase people's awareness of our company in the respective regions." In order to be closer to the customer, SIEB & MEYER cooperates with numerous sales partners world wide, for example SAMBO Corporation in South Korea and Universal (Hong Kong) Technologies in China.
At both fairs visitors can view the well-proven frequency converters by the Lueneburg based company, for example innovative solutions like the newly developed SD2B plus for speed-controlled and torque-controlled motor operation or SD2M with multilevel technology. One highlight is the all-rounder SD2S: Especially designed for high-speed applications, this frequency converter is established in the machine tool industry amongst others – for example in high-precision internal grinding. But SD2S is also most suitable for applications such as turbo compressors and vacuum pumps. The solution can be integrated by plug and play and allows highest motor powers at lowest possible motor temperatures. Just in May 2017, SIEB & MEYER gave the frequency converters of the series SD2S a facelift: Since then, revised devices with extended functions and in some cases more compact designs have been available to users. In addition, the Lueneburg based company continuously develops new software tools for the frequency converters: The parameterization and initial operation software drivemaster2, for example, was recently enhanced by the efficient function Motor Analyzer. By means of this function users can simulate the operating points and the expectable ripple currents that result from the interaction of motors or spindles with the respective frequency converter. The tool supports experienced users and developers during the project planning phase.
