Standard frequency converters are not capable to drive high-speed motors adequately due to the necessary high rotating field frequency and the low rotor volume. The frequency converters by SIEB & MEYER are customized for operating high-speed motors. They provide the necessary rotating field frequencies and guarantee a low motor heating by means of special control technologies. The motor heating has a significant impact on the system's efficiency and the service life of motors and bearings.
