The efficiency of systems for residual and waste heat utilization is significantly increased when proper frequency converter technology is used. Therefore SIEB & MEYER systematically modified the features of the device basis SD2S for this field of application.

SD2S now available with an additional operating mode

The frequency converter SD2S developed by SIEB & MEYER is now available with an additional operating mode. With this feature the specialist for control and drive technology responds exactly to the user requirements in practice.

SIEB & MEYER optimized the drive amplifier series SD2S and SD2T for modern applications: In addition to the standard features the devices provide a USB interface now filling a technology gap in communication.

SIEB & MEYER on the SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2011 trade fair

At the electrical automation trade fair in Nuremberg SIEB & MEYER presents the frequency converter SD2S with two additional, sensorless operating modes allowing for high-speed (HS) operation of asynchronous and synchronous machines with lowest possible motor heating.

SIEB & MEYER on the New Energy

From March 15 to 18, 2012 New Energy Husum opens its doors for the tenth time. This year's motto is: Look ahead – think ahead! SIEB & MEYER also seized this motto and rebuilt the feed-in converter aeocon for small wind turbines allowing the device to be used with other renewable energy technologies.
